I really liked this hotel. It is close to the main train station as well as the bus stop which takes you to and from the airport as welll as to the centre of Salzburg. It is only about a 5 minute walk to the train station/bus stop and only a 15-minute, very pleasant walk to the Altstadt. The area was quiet - I didn't hear any traffic noise. There is a Thai takeaway and a pizzeria close by. The room was very cosy and warm. It was clean. There was a shutter on the window to keep out the light which was very much appreciated. The shower was very powerful with plenty of hot water. There was a small bar of soap provided. The bed was comfortable. Room had a desk, fridge and TV. Very reasonably priced. The best part of my stay was the staff. Everyone was so kind, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all very much for being so welcoming to me. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again on my return to Salzburg.

The hotel staff was exceptional and incredibly friendly. We arrived much earlier than expected and were allowed to check-in because the room happened to be ready. There was a staff member availalable at the reception desk all day and throughout the night. Location was convenient enough to Old Town (20-25 minute walk) and 15 minute walk to Mirabelle Palace. The room was huge (by European standards) for 4 people and a dog. The beds were comfy and the windows were able to keep out the sound of the busy street below. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. We traveled by car and were able to park in the free parking. There weren't many spaces, but enough for the 8 cars that were parked there that evening.

The location is so convenient, really only a few minutes walk from the main station. I was a little nervous that this would mean it was in a rough area, and indeed the street was not the prettiest, but it was fine and the hotel itself is charming. It is a short walk to the river, and you can then walk all the way to the Alstadt along a riverside path. My room in the hotel was small and so was my bed, but I still slept well and was surprised how quiet the location was. Breakfast is very good. One charming thing: they give you an old Austrian shilling as your 'token' to hand in at breakfast. Portraits of the young Mozart children on the wall by the entrance. Lots of good humour around!

Exceptionally good breakfast - lovely cappuccino, juice, fruit salad and lashings of yoghurt, ham & cheese, cake...set us up for the day! Great modern en suite bathroom, no unnecessary extras in room but everything you need - very nice indeed to have windows that open and ours was overlooking a pretty little cobbled courtyard with a tree! Closet with long mirror, hangers and hair dryer provided, also fridge and safe. Helpful Receptionist - nothing was too much trouble. Useful location near the main station, bus station and three minutes walk to local supermarket, six minutes walk to exceptional restaurant. Quiet area.

Easy to find and located about a 5 minute walk from the train station (Salzburg HBF). It’s about a 25 minute walk from the Old Town. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly/helpful. We were able to drop our bags off when we arrived before check-in and they opened breakfast early for us on the morning we left. Breakfast was included for our stay and was a typical European breakfast (cold cuts, cheese, bread, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt) with some cereal options, fruit, and a scrambled egg station. Would recommend anyone looking for a nice hotel on a budget.
